The TRA is charged with promoting and balancing the interests of subscribers and other users, and promoting effective and fair competition among new and existing licensed operators.
|

The TRA is required to carry out its duties and exercise its powers in a non-discriminatory and transparent manner. A board, appointed by His Majesty the King, Shaikh Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, oversees the TRA, the day-to-day functioning of which vests in a General Director. |
