  On 19 July 2006, The TRA has decided to extend the deadline for responses to its consultation on ‘The possibility of additional mobile licenses in the Kingdom of Bahrain’ to 31st August 2006 from 3rd August 2006. The TRA has received representations that a longer period of time should be allowed for the consideration of the important and complex issues involved. Decision regarding TRA case reference no. 1/05 (Batelco/ANIS)

TRA Monthly Review of Interim Interconnection Order No.2
  On 15 December, 2003, the TRA issued Interim Interconnection Order No.2. Clause 3.3 (c) of the Order requires the TRA to consider termination or renewal of the Order.
The TRA has received submissions concerning the Order and has given careful consideration to the issues submitted by all parties pertaining to the Order. Following these considerations, the TRA is satisfied that the Order should not be modified or terminated and as such remains in force.
Therefore, as provided by the Order, the Order is automatically renewed for a further One month period when it will be reviewed again i.e. on 15 February, 2004.
