Kindly note that the TRA has granted an extension to the deadline for submitting responses to the consultation paper.

1.  On 10 December 2025, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain published a Consultation Paper (Ref: LAD 1225 064) on the proposed Guidelines for the Provision and Deployment of Fibre In-Building Infrastructure. The Authority stated that the consultation period would run until 14 January 2026.
2.  Following a request from stakeholders for an extension to the deadline, the Authority has agreed to extend the deadline for receipt of submissions to the Consultation Paper by one (1) week.
3.  Responses to the Consultation Paper are now due on or before 16:00 on 21 January 2026.
