Further to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (“TRA”)’s notice published on 01 October 2015 in the Official Gazette and on TRA website, asking for comments on the proposed voluntary revocation of its Individual Internet Exchange License (“IEX License”) awarded to Rapid Telecommunications W.L.L, TRA now advises that it has not received any comments and/or responses to its notice.
Accordingly, pursuant to Article 31 of the Telecommunications Law, the IEX License awarded to Rapid Telecommunications W.L.L is revoked effective 05 November 2015.
