Voluntary revocation of telecommunications service licenses granted to Moving Gulf Telecom W.L.L by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority

Further to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (“TRA”)’s notice published on 23 July 2018 in the Official Gazette and on TRA website asking for comments on the proposed voluntary revocation of Individual International Telecommunications Services License (“ISL License”) and Value Added Services Class License (“VAS License”) granted to Moving Gulf Telecom W.L.L, TRA now advises that it has not received any comments and/or responses to its notice.Accordingly, pursuant to Articles 31 and 34 of t

Further to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (“TRA”)’s  notice published on 23 July 2018 in the Official Gazette and on TRA website asking for comments on the proposed voluntary revocation of Individual International Telecommunications Services License (“ISL License”)  and Value Added Services Class License (“VAS License”) granted to Moving Gulf Telecom W.L.L, TRA now advises that it has not received any comments and/or responses to its notice.

Accordingly, pursuant to Articles 31 and 34 of the Telecommunications Law, the ISL License and VAS Licenses granted to Moving Gulf Telecom W.L.L  are revoked effective 30 August  2018.

For the avoidance of doubt, Moving Gulf Telecom W.L.L is not licensed to provide any telecommunication services in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
