Revocation of telecommunication licenses granted by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority

Further to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (“TRA”)’s notice published on 15 October 2015 on the Official Gazette and on TRA website, asking for comments on the proposed revocation of a number of service licenses awarded to Viper Networks Company W.L.L (formerly Fastelco Services Company W.L.L), TRA now advises that it has not received any comments and/or responses to its notice.

Further to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (“TRA”)’s notice published on 15 October 2015 on the Official Gazette and on TRA website, asking for comments on the proposed revocation of a number of service licenses awarded to Viper Networks Company W.L.L (formerly Fastelco Services Company W.L.L), TRA now advises that it has not received any comments and/or responses to its notice.

Accordingly, pursuant to Articles 31, 34 and 35 of the Telecommunications Law, the following licenses granted to Viper Networks Company W.L.L are revoked effective 03 December 2015 :

  • Individual License for International Telecommunications Services
  • Class License for Value Added Services
  • Class License for Internet Services

For the avoidance of doubt, Viper Networks Company W.L.L is not licensed to provide any telecommunication services in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
